Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka

Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka (/ˈbodni lun/ /ˈiza/ [romance] [kitten]) is a subtropical Town located in the Dewlǐq District of the Federation of Alveria.

The name Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka is derived from the Constructi language, as Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka was founded by Bronwen Trîyë, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 19°C (66°F). Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka receives an average of 207 cm/y (81 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka covers an area of nearly 5 km² (2 mi²), and an average elevation of 5984 m (19632 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka was founded durring the late 12th century in fall of the year 1093, by Bronwen Trîyë. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Bronwen Trîyë.

Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka is buildings are arranged arround a network of premissive baked earthen streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka's size could have. The town's well-designed, yet cheep have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

The first thing you notice about Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka is the large sign at the entrance welcoming you to their humble town. Children come up to you and say hi, some asking if you’ve fought any big monsters, and others just zipping away after their hello. The adults are much the same. By the time you’ve made it a significant way into the town you’ve been invited to a tavern for a pint to drink in exchange for news of the world. You’ve also had no less than three older women give you a sweetroll and direct your attention to their still unmarried children. It would be creepy if it wasn't so sincere.

The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century a local hero by the name of killed a tyrannical who had controlled Bodni Lun-iza Birěkhka for years. The recitation of the hero's story remains a popular tavern and fair tale.
